What's your daily routine?
Under the supervision of the team leader, the cable installer must have an eye for detail, quality and safety in order to play an important role in the electrical layout of our medium-voltage circuit breaker control panels.
Read various electrical drawings, check mechanical layout and select materials for panel assembly;
Wire panels in accordance with electrical and mechanical diagrams and wiring diagrams;
Receive parts, validate that they correspond electrically, and report any errors or parts that do not conform to specifications;
Trim wires and labels;
Install components (contactors, relays, terminals, etc.) in the various products assembled at the Lachine plant, following assembly drawings and schematic diagrams;
Perform point-to-point tests using a multimeter;
Inspect work performed and report any manufacturing, assembly or wiring defects to the supervisor or group leader.
Do you recognize yourself?
DEP or DEC - Electromechanics, Electricity or related training;
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams;
Good judgment, proactive and results-oriented attitude;
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and manage priorities;
Autonomy, thoroughness and team spirit.
