Challenges ahead:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, reducing costs and driving continuous improvement within our organization.
Manage and execute process optimization and improvement projects (identification, prioritization) affecting time, material and energy factors;
Measure the rate of return (ROR) of processes;
Analyze and control product line manufacturing processes;
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the various stages of production lines;
Record work instructions for lines to enable easy training of new employees;
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to solve problems at source;
Analyze and implement 5S practices at workstations;
Propose practical recommendations including reorganization of shelves for better flow.
Do you recognize yourself?
Bachelor's degree in industrial or electrical engineering;
At least 3 years relevant experience;
Plan to travel to both plants (Lachine and Sherbrooke) as needed;
Knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
Fluency in French and English (Procedures must be bilingual and some of our customers are English-speaking);
Ability to work autonomously while respecting deadlines and objectives;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
