Job description
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Mechanical Assembler must have an eye for detail, quality and safety in order to carry out the assembly and mounting tasks involved in the manufacture of medium-voltage outdoor circuit breakers (VOX).
Tasks
Read mechanical and electrical drawings;
Assemble VOX-type external circuit breaker;
Mechanical assembly of circuit breaker support;
Cabinet and low-voltage panel assembly;
Assemble busbars;
Install circuit breaker and assemble support on pallet;
Participate in counting during one-time, periodic or annual inventories;
May be called upon to perform any other work determined by his/her supervisor, such as but not limited to: building and equipment maintenance (interior and exterior), etc;
Comply with the various quality and health & safety procedures inherent to the position.
Skills and abilities required
DEP in electromechanics or related training/experience;
Mechanical knowledge;
Electrical knowledge;
Ability to work with tools;
Ability to read plans and specifications;
Versatility and autonomy.
