Your daily routine:
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, your main mandate is to develop innovative electrical protection products to the required specifications.
Design and implement standard test protocols;
Design prototypes and validate them on test benches;
Develop innovative manufacturing processes;
Develop molds, jigs and other manufacturing equipment;
Work with sales and marketing, production and R&D teams to find and implement new technologies and new ways of doing things;
Document tests, write reports and internal procedures;
Perform calculations to size components and select materials;
Perform material strength, thermodynamic and fluid calculations, etc.

Profile required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering ;
3 to 5 years' experience in low and medium voltage electrical distribution and protection;
Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
SolidWorks proficiency;
Excellent teamwork skills;
Highly developed attention to detail and quality;
Bilingual (French, English) both orally and in writing (French and English-speaking customers).
