The challenges ahead
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, your main tasks will be to :
Direct and supervise production activities to ensure compliance with product specifications and achieve the highest levels of quality and service.
Develop and implement production strategies to optimize production processes, procedures and policies.
Develop long-term production plans and ensure their effective implementation.
Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) in each production department in line with the zero non-conformity objective.
Generate reports and analysis tools to track and monitor production performance.
Ensure that deadlines and costs are met, while finding ways to improve efficiency and productivity, and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
Manage and motivate human resources to ensure that production teams are well trained and comply with safety practices and standards.
Maintain quality standards and implement optimization projects, including the improvement of production flows.
Implement measures to easily assess costs and performance, and manage production budgets.
Profile required
5 years' experience in manufacturing;
Bilingualism French/English required (contacts with international customers);
Highly developed attention to detail and quality;
Travel to both plants (Lachine and Sherbrooke) as required;
Ability to work independently while respecting deadlines and objectives;
Excellent teamwork skills;
Strong communication and team management skills;
Sense of responsibility to bring a team to a higher level of performance.
