Production Manager

The challenges ahead


Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, your main tasks will be to :

  • Direct and supervise production activities to ensure compliance with product specifications and achieve the highest levels of quality and service.

  • Develop and implement production strategies to optimize production processes, procedures and policies.

  • Develop long-term production plans and ensure their effective implementation.

  • Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) in each production department in line with the zero non-conformity objective.

  • Generate reports and analysis tools to track and monitor production performance.

  • Ensure that deadlines and costs are met, while finding ways to improve efficiency and productivity, and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.

  • Manage and motivate human resources to ensure that production teams are well trained and comply with safety practices and standards.

  • Maintain quality standards and implement optimization projects, including the improvement of production flows.

  • Implement measures to easily assess costs and performance, and manage production budgets.


Profile required

  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing;

  • Bilingualism French/English required (contacts with international customers);

  • Highly developed attention to detail and quality;

  • Travel to both plants (Lachine and Sherbrooke) as required;

  • Ability to work independently while respecting deadlines and objectives;

  • Excellent teamwork skills;

  • Strong communication and team management skills;

  • Sense of responsibility to bring a team to a higher level of performance.
